Access Rights

4PM supports two modes of access rights.

Important to know

  • simple access rights include project access rights (project team member, project manager, all projects)
  • Advanced Access Rights do not include project access rights. Project access rights are set according to project role.
  • pre-set user groups can be changed and/or adapted to your needs.

USER GROUPS

User groups are set in tab ACCESS / ACCESS RIGHTS and they are for management of general 4PM settings (not related to project management). Each 4PM instance has pre set user groups:

  • support (full access to 4PM)
  • management (resources, documents, overviews, My 4PM)
  • simple user (My 4PM)

You can add new or change existing user groups.

User groups are used for management of access rights for normal users in the Access / person access
