Cost plan - projects FP7

Complex cost plan includes various levels of financial planning by:

  • project partners
  • work packages (phase)
  • cost categories (cost types, cost areas)
  • various periods (reporting period, yearly, quarterly reports...)
  • project totals, totals by work-packages, activities...

Before entering cost plan you should:

  1. set project periods (project plan, plan for reporting...)
  2. levels of cop-financing
  3. enter activity plan by phases (workpackages) and tasks

Complex cost table includes fields:

  • cost description - text field for cost description
  • unit - general unit list (edited in tab General)
  • eligible cost per unit (net),
  • units,
  • eligible cost (net): costs per unit
  • % VAT - numeric field (if not applicable, enter 0)
  • total cost (gross) - automatic
  • ineligible expenditure (VAT) - automatic
  • level of co-financing - set in tab PROJECT SCORECARD / CO-FINANCING
  • co-financing amount - automatic
  • private contribution - automatic
  • organization - project partner cost plan
  • phase (work package),
  • periods from-to
  • cost type

New cost entry

  • click ENTER
  • at the bottom of the table, new empty line in edit mode appears. Enter missing fields, select from drop-down list
  • confirm the entry by clicking 4.2.9.ikonaKljukcaZelena.jpg or cancel 4.7.ikonaRdecKrizec.jpg

Cost table editing

Lines of the table can be deleted or edited if there are no bound records:

  • edit: click 2.2.2.ikonaSvincnik.jpg, edit cells and confirm changes 4.2.9.ikonaKljukcaZelena.jpg or cancel changes 4.7.ikonaRdecKrizec.jpg. All requred fields must be filled-in. Missing entries are marked with red colour.
  • copy: select existing line and click COPY, edit if necessary 2.2.2.ikonaSvincnik.jpg.
  • delete: select line and click DELETE.
  • line order: select line and use buttons ˇ in ^.

Important!

There are bound records, if:

  • planned cost has entered actual cost in tab ASSEMBLED COSTS (organization+cost type+cost area+work package+activity+period)
  • personnel cost & travel costs have planned activities

Indirect costs (overheads)

Project or phase can have planned indirect costs (overheads). 4PM calculates value of indirect cost by predefined formulas:

  • % of all cost
  • hours coefficient mode
  • fixed value

Complex projects can have planned and monitored indirect cost by organization (project partner) and by phase (work package).
